MARC ANTONELLI

Marc Antonelli was born in Austin, Texas and grew up in a close knit Italian-French-American family in the rural town of Hanson,Massachusetts. As a boy, he displayed impressive athletic prowess. However, a severe shoulder injury permanently sidelined his dream of becoming a pitcher for the big leagues. During his high school years at Whitman-Hanson Regional, Marc participated in the musical theater club as a junior where a chance meeting with opera sensation, Martina Ferrante instilled a love of singing into him. Ferrante coincidentally became not only Marc’s first voice instructor, but also his first fan. Throughout the first two years of training with Martina, Marc dominated the vocal performance program at Massasoit Community College where he later attended. Winning countless awards and singing competitions, Marc then went on to successfully audition for the acclaimed private performance college, The Boston Conservatory. After studying for two semesters at The Boston Conservatory, Marc wanted to expand beyond opera and began to build a more contemporary repertoire at Bristol Studios in Boston where he made the decision to pursue his career at Berklee College of Music. After yet another successful audition at Berklee College of Music, Marc found his passion for singing musical theater as well as the songs of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Al Martino and Michael Bublé which in turn, ignited and developed his unique repertoire of opera, classical ballads, jazz, pop and musical theater. Throughout 2008 and 2009, Marc performed for Legendary World Boxing Champions such as Tony DeMarco, "Marvelous" Marvin Haglar and the Rocky Marciano family. He also sang the “The National Anthem” at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut, “God Bless America” at Fenway Park in Boston, MA, Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, PA (both of which were televised national baseball events), Foxwoods Resort and Casino, Mohegun Sun Resort and Casino, Twin River Casino, and the Boston Winery. Marc graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2009 and continued to study with his voice instructor, Duane Moody of the famous “Three Mo Tenors" until 2010 when Marc decided to take his career to New Jersey. While in New Jersey, Marc studied under the tutelage of world renowned vocal coach, Sal Dupree, (voice coach of artists from America’s Got Talent, Star Search, Ugly Betty, and Broadway shows including Spring Awakening and Phantom of The Opera) until 2011. From 2010 to 2011, Marc performed in Atlantic City, NJ at the Tropicana Casino & Resort at the exclusive Tango’s Lounge. After only six months, he was promoted by Tropicana CEO, Mark Gianantonio to become a headlining act for two successful productions in the 2500-seat Showroom. The first production entitled “One on One with Marc Antonelli” consisting of the hits of Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban and Frank Sinatra, was a financial success with 15 sell out shows. Marc's second showroom production entitled, “Unknown to Irresistible” was even more of a financial success with 26 sell-out shows and rave reviews from the New York Times and Atlantic City Weekly. Recently, Marc made his return to Atlantic City in 2017 at the Superstar Theater at Resorts Hotel and Casino where he headlined through out the month of January. During Marc's tenure in New Jersey, he has also made frequent performance visits at the Sugarhouse Casino in Philadelphia, The Atlantic Club Casino, The Borgata, Taj Mahal and The Golden Nugget in Atlantic City. He also performed a tribute show to Andrew Lloyd Webber, Josh Groban, Michael Bublé and Andrea Bocelli in a production entitled "Marc Antonelli: A Musical Journey" which was one of the highest selling shows ever for the Cape May Performing Arts Center in Cape May, NJ. Currently, Marc is recording his debut album in Los Angeles, CA with renowned record producer, David Longoria. Additionally, Marc once again enlisted Duane Moody from his days at Berklee College of Music as his permanent voice instructor. The album is set for release in the spring of 2016 and is expected to be a ground-breaking album for the classical/pop crossover genre. With a repertoire of classical, pop, jazz, musical theater and other contemporary stylings in his arsenal, Marc has a universally appealing voice. He captivates his audience with the ability to sing flawlessly in english, spanish, italian, and French and without a doubt is "The Next Titan" in the music industry.
